OUR STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNITS
Our business activities are currently grouped into 3 Strategic Business Units (SBUs) namely Animal Nutrition, Animal Health, Animal feed and concentrates Strategic Business Units.
Animal Nutrition Division
This Strategic Business Unit of Biacom Agro was established in the year 2013. It comprises two sub-units, namely The Feed Additives Sub-unit and The Feeds and Concentrates Sub-unit.
The strategic objective of our animal nutrition Strategic Business Unit is to provide total nutrition to the Nigerian Livestock market.
Feed Additives Sub-Unit
Every farmers wants the best production performance from their animals, hence they demand quality feed. We are motivated by the farmer’s demand to produce and supply them with feeds and concentrates of the highest quality possible.
Apart from formulating our feeds and concentrates to meet all the daily nutrients requirement of livestock, they are fortified with Feed Additives that will not only ensure the improvement of feed quality but enhances the efficiency of feed utilization. The ensuing result is the enhanced digestibility of our feeds and concentrates thus improving the animals’ overall performance and health.
The following Feed Additives are used to fortify our feeds and concentrates:
ENZYMES: Enzymes helps in getting more nutrients out of the feed ingredients.
MYCOTOXIN BINDER: The addition of mycotoxin binder helps to bind and remove mycotoxins from your birds.
ORGANIC ACIDS: The addition of a blend of organic acids salts exhibit strong anti-mold properties by thwarting the germination and growth of mold.
YUCCA SCHIDIGERA: This is effective in reducing ammonia levels and other objectionable odours. It has been proven to enhance poultry performance.
YOLK COLOURANTS: This is added to enhance yolk colour but at request and at a marginal cost to the farmer.
Feeds and Concentrates Sub-Unit
Biacom Complete Ration® have been formulated using carefully selected and quality assured raw materials and manufactured to the highest quality production methods to ensure traceability, high quality and consistent products. This is to guarantee optimum egg production, faster growth rate and good feed efficiency among other production parameters.
We produce one of the best quality feeds available in the market and are consistently providing reliable, proven and sustainable, quality finished poultry feeds. High quality raw materials are used to produce Biacom Complete Ration in adequate quantities to meet round the year requirements.
Animal Health Division
This Strategic Business Unit of Biacom Agro was established in the year 2013. The strategic objective of our Animal Health SBU is to provide the Nigerian Livestock market with a complete range of high quality range of Veterinary Pharmaceuticals to ensure the well-being of the animals.
High quality Veterinary Pharmaceutical is demanded by farmers who want good health for their animals hence the motivation by Biacom Agro Nigeria Limited to supply the best quality Veterinary Pharmaceuticals to the sector. Our Animal Health SBU is constantly exploring new opportunities thus allowing regular updating of our product range, thus meeting the ever changing demands of the market.
Our International partner, Hebei New Century Pharmaceutical Co., Limited, is a professional exporter and manufacturer of Animal Healthcare Products.
Together, we have for Nigerian market poultry, veterinary, aquatic healthcare products. In addition, we have several forms of prepared drugs in tablet, granular, powder, oral solution and injection and over 200 kinds of products.
At present, Hebei New Century Pharmaceutical Co. Limited is at the front in the veterinary medicine industry and one of the largest integrative manufacturer of Veterinary Pharmaceuticals in China. They have the approval for enterprises foreign trade rights and various GMP certificates.
Located in Shijiazhuang National High Technology Development Zone, Hebei New Century Pharmaceutical Co., Limited has approx. 300 staff members.
Apart from partnering with Biacom Agro Nigeria Limited in Nigeria, their products sells well in their domestic market.
